From "Alive and Well" by Philip E Binzel, Jr., MD

From the case histories of the Richardson Clinic

"I was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer in both breasts in December 2003 and had an operation to remove 2 lumps, some lymph glands and some nerves. Thankfully, I heard about B17 and did not proceed any further with another operation for a half mastectomy, chemo, radiation and tamoxifen.

I am pleased to say that I am doing very well. The doctors at the hospital have ignored me since February 2005. I had requested that they continue to monitor my progress with ultrasound. They insisted that I see a particular radiographer because they wanted to see the results they wanted, whom I knew was a particularly rude and rough ultrasound scanner. So I requested to see another radiographer. They kept sending me appointments for the same radiographer and I kept phoning the Ultrasound Department to change to another radiographer. Each time they said that the consultants refused! This went on for months and from February 2005, I have not heard a word from them.

They were not happy that I had refused their barbaric ways of practising medicine! They told me that if I continued to use alternative medicine, my condition would worsen and I would be back to go on conventional medicine, by which time "it would be too late"! I did offer to give them information on all the supplements and about B17 but they flatly refused saying that they didn't care about what I was doing because it won't work!!! They kept saying that as I was in my late 30s the cancer would advance at a great speed and I should think about my daughter!

That's my story in a nutshell! Keep up the good work." - Laila T, London, UK

Dear Angel,

I don't know if you still remember me. I wrote to you early 2003 about my dog, Life, she's got cancer in her spleen, and was undergoing chemotherapy
with the vets. Well, I think you do remember haha. Anyway, just to update on what happened - her chemo finished May 2003, and I've been giving her 3-4
apricot kernnels a day ever since. She is now still alive and well. I take her back to the vet every 3 months to do blood counts, and all her white
blood cells are within the normal range. So, it has been 1 year and 4 months since her last chemo session, and the vets are very very surprised! because
out of all the vet's chemo patients, Life is the only one alive and still under good condition - which is totally out of their prediction!

Oh well, just want to thank you for the apricot supplies. At that time I really didn't know where to find them. You've opened the door of hope! And
now I'm ready to order some more! Annie, Australia

To The BBC
"Sirs. On the 6 o'clock news tonight a medical professor was stated as saying that it was dangerous to try to cure cancer by 'untried' and 'unscientific' alternatives to the usual methods applied in hospitals.

May I say briefly that I have been cured by one of the horrors he mentioned, namely 'eating apricot kernels.'

Some years ago a nasty oozing swelling on my right ear would not respond to any treatment, but just grew in size. It was painful, it messed up my pillow each night and caused me emotional worry. Eventually I was sent to the Lincoln Hospital by my GP. They took a biopsy, and a specialist told me that I had a squamous cell carcinoma and that I would have to have a certain percentage of my ear removed. This was not good news. I deferred having treatment. I said I wanted time to think it over.

As it happened, I soon got to hear about apricot kernels, and began taking about ten each day, together with a generous helping of pineapple plus supplements. Within a couple of weeks I began to notice an arresting of the ulcer, and then it gradually began to decrease in size until finally, after a few months, I was left with nothing but fresh pink skin. The specialist was very interested, and took photographs, and said he would confer with other specialists in the hospital. He asked to see me on a regular basis, in case the cancer had spread to glands in the neck. But after twelve months he declared that I had been healed, and didn't need to attend the clinic any more. Strangely, he didn't seem inclined to discuss the matter further.

As I understand it, the medical profession is not willing to accept 'anecdotal evidence.' Let me say this. I am not a medical man but a physicist. Even if Newton's apple is apocryphal, he certainly knew about things falling to the ground, and using his keen mental acuity, formulated the theory of gravitation. Astronomers knew all about the peculiar motion of the orbit of Mercury, but it took the mind of Einstein to provide us with the reason via relativity. These 'anecdotes' were the stuff of scientific method and advancement. If I (and apparently quite a number of others) are finding that skin cancers respond quite quickly to the eating of apricot kernels, the medical profession should be asking why, and coming to a scientific solution, rather than denouncing the anecdotes as 'unscientific', and the apricot kernels as 'dangerous.' Arthur E., Alford, UK

My introduction to apricot kernels was through a friend who lives in New
South Wales. She visited my house in September of 2000 and was very sad as
she had been diagnosed with metasised bone cancer and had spots on her rib,
spine and hip. She previously had had breast cancer some six years before
this diagnosis. I know she thought her life expectancy was doomed and I
felt quite shattered as I also had breast cancer 18 months before this and
had used my friend as a benchmark of how I was going to progress.

When speaking to her some months later to check on her health, she informed
me she was eating apricot kernels, and in huge quantities each day. I
believe it was around 30. This intrigued me as I had no idea there was any
value in the kernel of this fruit but decided to start searching the
internet for information and this is when I started to come across Phillip
Day and other sites which endorsed this cancer strategy.

My friend is now cancer free according to her professor/specialist and a
hair test, she has a lavender farm which she works from the bush to the end
product and also has alpachas...hard work......what an inspiration she is.

My cancer was bad, aggressive, two tumours in the left breast and 14 of 17
lymph nodes cancerous. I had a mastectomy of the left breast, undertook 4
intense doses of chemo and 6 standard doses, spaced 3 weeks apart. I also
had 6 weeks of radiation therapy. I knew I had a fight on my hands as the
specialist was very clear to explain that their belief was the cancer would
be elsewhere.

I made a decision to take other vitamin supplements, including selenium at
the very beginning of my diagnosis and then when I heard about apricot
kernels, I thought maintenance and prevention was my next option. With
experimentation I had the kernels daily but found I had reflux so
interpreted that my body was telling me I did not need to have these so
frequently and have now taken them twice weekly...the equivalent of a
flat teaspoon of crushed kernels each time.

My five year extensive check up happened in March of this year and all my
tests are great. I am very well, feel terrific and know I have lots of
energy to enjoy a wonderful life with my precious family and friends. My
health is my wealth and the help and joy I give to others, who are embarking
on a journey with cancer, is a wonderful reward for being a survivor.

Thank you again.
Regards
Judy

Dear Phillip

When you were in Ballarat last November you asked me to write of my experience with breast cancer to encourage women with the same problem to try alternative treatment.

Early in 2001, I felt a lump in my left breast. As it was very painful and movable I thought it was a cyst. I waited two months before seeing a surgeon. In that time it didn't alter. I had tests and a biopsy, which gave a diagnosis of cancer.

My surgeon wanted to do a mastectomy with removal of the lymph nodes or a lumpectomy with removal of the lymph nodes, six weeks' radiotherapy and Tamoxifen to follow.

I refused all this and just had a lumpectomy. Returning to my surgeon, I was told he had cut too close to the tumour and I would have to return to the hospital for the removal of more tissue. I was very sick after the second operation and then developed pleurisy and pneumonia. My surgeon had also wanted to experiment before the first operation by injecting dye into my breast and seeing which lymph nodes it affected. I also refused this. I was in almost constant pain for months at the site of the operation after reopening the incision.

After recovering from the pleurisy and pneumonia, I went to a clinic in Victoria for several weeks to have B17 and vitamin C intravenously. Since then I have returned to normal living which I am certain I would not have done after the treatment of radiotherapy and Tamoxifen. Sorry I have not written sooner but I feel more confident now that alternative treatment is working for me. I am careful of my diet and eat apricot kernels every day.
Your sincerely, Joan, Australia

In 1987 a sun spot of many on my scalp developed into a malignant cancerous tumour which grew for ten months. For only the last three of those months I began eating apricot kernels daily, but the tumour had already grown to considerable size; invasion of the bone (skull) was suspected. I finally agreed to operation to remove the squamous cell carcinoma on 28/6/1988. The plastic surgeon was puzzled as to how the cancer by then had not spread to other areas.

Over the following year a new tumour started slowly next to the skin graft area whilst I continued to ingest the kernels (Vitamin B17), three times a day before meals. The new tumour was excised without skin grafting on 2/5/89. I declined to undergo follow-up radiotherapy after the operation in spite of dire warnings from medical staff that the cancer would almost certainly spread.

Many years later no cancer has developed so far. I have continued to eat one handful of kernels a day before meals, drinking some water before chewing them to reduce saliva contact. Doctors at Royal Perth Hospital expressed surprise that their predictions had not been realised. I continue also to concentrate on a high fibre and low fat diet. Combination with selenium is said to enhance the process.

The theory of the above is that the cyanide content of fruit kernels (mainly apricots) penetrates and attacks the cancer cells but leaves the healthy cells unaffected. The medical profession, who pour scorn on this theory, and government have caused the sale of the kernels to be banned in the shops and elsewhere. Consequently I have to obtain my own supply of stones and then have the dreary task of hulling them with a mallet. I suffer no ill-effects eating them. Incidentally I have found the kernels are
freely for sale in the United Kingdom! - D.B. Wundowie, Australia

Dear ****

Just a short line to thank you for all you done for us and all the help you gave us.
we got a phone call from Dorothy's brother George this morning. He went for an x-ray yesterday and got his results this morning. Apparently the lung cancer has gone completely but they still want him to finish his chemotherapy.

We think it is a combination of all the therapies he has been taking, but mainly the B17 as he has been taking the seeds since you sent them a couple of months ago. Also he has been taking the tablets & the injections we got from England.
We owe it all to you and, on behalf of George & his family and from Dorothy & I, we thank you from the bottom of our heart for all the time & trouble you went through for us and for helping to save George's life
.

Greetings,

At the beginning of this year I met a precious man in his 80's who had
just been diagnosed with liver cancer. His granddaughter asked me to go to his
home and share with him about metabolic therapy (treating cancer with
nutritionally).

I told him that if I had cancer I would go on a very strict diet with no
meat, dairy or sugar. That I would eat a diet rich in raw fruits and
vegetables, including up to 20 apricot kernels along with a half pineapple
a day. I would take Neways Maximol, Noni Juice, Cassie Tea, Cascading
Revenol, the Cell Purification products. And finally, I would switch out all
personal care products to Neways safe products.

He decided to follow this regimen. His family purchased the Neways
products and apricot kernels for him for several months. For the last few months
they have not purchased many of the Neways products, but he continued to
eat a healthy diet along with the apricot kernels with pineapple.

Recently he went to the doctor who told him that the CANCER IS GONE! The
doctor could not understand what happened. But we know what happened...God
healed him! God is such an intelligent and good God that he created our
bodies to heal itself. If we feed the body what God intends us to, our
body will do what God designed it to. I call this God's natural healing. That
in itself is supernatural! Praise God!

In June 1997, my beloved brother, Athol was diagnosed with malignant mesothelioma, (a rare form of cancer of the lining of the chest caused by asbestos dust). He fought this disease with the only treatments he was offered, i.e. surgery, radiotherapy and chemotherapy or, in other words, maiming, burning and poisoning. Sadly this treatment was of no help to him and in fact only exacerbated his suffering, and caused sever deterioration in his condition. He gradually became weaker and weaker until he died on 05 August 1998.

We lived in South Africa, and Athol was employed in the building industry for all his working life. He often worked directly with asbestos. The workmen were not given any warnings, nor were they issued with any protective clothing. He had no idea that asbestos was a deadly substance.

Some months after Athol's death I developed a persistent cough that I ignored. Then early in 2001 I began to experience difficulties in climbing stairs. My reaction to this was that I had become unfit and thought that I should try and exercise more. This only made the problem worse and by June of 2001 I began to feel decidedly unwell. Eventually I decided a visit to the doctor was necessary, and, after a series of tests, biopsies etc. I was finally diagnosed in early September as having malignant mesothelioma, the very same disease that had taken my brother three years earlier. This was devastating news for my whole family. When my brother, Athol, was diagnosed with this disease we understood that this dreadful form of cancer was very rare. It seemed impossible that it could strike both a brother and sister, but it did. It would appear that I had breathed in the asbestos dust from his clothing while still living in our family home in South Africa. Mesothelioma can remain dormant in the body for between 20-50 years, but once manifested, progresses rapidly and is terminal. My world was turned upside-down and suddenly all those things that seemed important were not important anymore.

My immediate decision was that I would not follow the same route as my brother had done as clearly this would only hasten my death. In any case conventional medicine could only offer me 'palliative chemotherapy' but no hope of any survival. I sent a panic e-mail to a nutritionist in South Africa for advice as my own common sense told me that nutrition would be the best way forward. She e-mailed back with three instructions:

1. Get onto the Hallelujah Diet. (This is a diet consisting of 85% raw fruit and vegetables, carrot juice and Barley Green, and of course eliminating the five white foods that are known to cause cancer. Meat, dairy, salt, sugar and white flour as well as eliminating all processed food from the diet.)

2. Try to get to the Oasis of Hope Hospital in Mexico.

3. Spend as much time with God as possible.

Well, nos. 1 & 3 were no problem, but I initially rejected no.2. I soon began to realise that nos. 1 & 3 were not enough as my health continued to decline. But God was not going to allow me to ignore the possibility of going to The Oasis of Hope Hospital in Mexico and He kept prompting me until I could no longer ignore this. Being a single mum with two young children to support, I had nothing like the finances available to go there, so I said to God, "OK I'm listening now. If I am meant to go to Mexico I know that You will provide," and so I put my trust TOTALLY in Him and went ahead and made the necessary arrangements.

In all this time I was becoming weaker and it appeared that the cancer had metastasised to the liver. But God is ever faithful and the money was provided in miraculous ways. After overcoming many obstacles, including VISA difficulties, and finally British Airways' initial refusal to grant me clearance for the flight because of my state of health, my 13 year old daughter, Auriol and I finally arrived at the Oasis of Hope Hospital in Tijuana, Mexico.

It was quite the most amazing experience I have ever had in my life. I knew from the moment I walked through the doors that I was in the right place. God's love permeates this remarkable hospital where everywhere you look there are colourful banners with Bible texts and wise sayings that help to create a positive attitude. Here I was, not just a sick body but a person with a mind and a soul. In this hospital they regard Jesus Christ as the Medical Director and with that one you cannot go wrong. (There cannot be many places where your doctor will pray with you and hug you each time you meet and where they give all the glory to God.) I met so many wonderful people and forged many strong friendships that I know will last for eternity. I was immediately started on the treatment of B17 (Laetrile) administered intravenously as well as chelation therapy, oxygen therapy and shark cartilage enemas. Of course the nutrition program was all important too. This entailed removing all harmful foods from my diet and concentration on a diet that is 85% raw living food that will promote healthy cells to aid in healing the body. I came back home very much stronger, the fluid on my lung had stabilised, and so had the tumour. The two cancer spots on my liver had completely disappeared. I brought home with me 6 months supply of the B17 that I would administer myself daily through a permanently inserted catheter, as well as other treatments with instructions to return in 6 months for a check up and further supplies. I came home with real HOPE and knew that God was looking after me and I felt that I now had a future that I would not have had if it were left to conventional medicine.

In addition to the above regime, further research alerted me to the dangers in our every day personal care products. Health concerns are continually being raised about ingredients in shampoos, bubble baths, toothpastes, skin creams and most other personal care products as well as cleaning products routinely used in our homes that have been proven to be highly toxic. I have removed all of these from my home and replaced them with safe products.

God again miraculously provided for the return trip to Mexico in May 2002 where the doctors described my condition as 'remarkable' and I praise God for that. I am now enjoying a quality of life that I could not have wished for had I not taken this step of faith and although I owe my life to my many friends and family who supported me, not only financially but with their LOVE and HOPE, the ultimate glory MUST go to God who has masterminded all this.

I think of my brother Athol daily and feel a great sadness that we did not know about this treatment at the time he was so ill, because had we known he would have been spared a great deal of suffering and would most probably still be alive today.

My name is Greg Hayes a 54 years old massage therapist and father of 6. Sons 25 and 24 daughters 18, 15, 6 and 10 My story is one of both sadness and Joy, of setting a goal and achieving it in what seems to be extremely adverse circumstances and mostly of God's great and mighty grace and mercy. For the past five years I have been locked in a battle to gain custody of my two youngest children, daughters aged 6 and 9 years. Two days before Easter this year (2001) I was given full custody of them. When I heard that I was going to get custody of my two daughters I decided it was time to give up smoking, which I promptly did. Always being the extreme optimist I thought my health would return to how it was prior to starting up smoking.

A few weeks after I kicked the habit I found I could not do anything requiring any effort, without folding over and gasping for breath. As I was working in a medical centre I decided to see one of the doctors in the centre who sent me for an x-ray of my lungs. It showed that my right lung was only partly working. Then I was sent to a cardio-thoracic surgeon who found I had a build up of fluid in my right plural cavity and the fluid was drained. Next I was off to see another surgeon in Sydney, he told me he wanted to operate on me to prevent me from any further build up of the fluid I had beforehand, also to find the cause of the fluid build up. One week later on the 22nd of May 2001 I was in hospital under the knife. I woke up and the surgeon who performed the operation sitting on the end of my bed. When I asked how it all went he said, "it doesn't look good, your right lung is covered in tumours. We still have to find out if they are malignant and that will take a few days till the test results come back". They were malignant, what a shock. Only a few weeks after getting my girls I was told I had a form of lung cancer known as mesothelioma. The first thing I did was to pray and ask for God's peace to be on me and for him to help me in this situation. That was the smartest thing I did. Never has God ever let me down in any situation, it's not always the way I would expect but the end result is always better than I could ever have expected.

The next day it all started to happen, a good friend Rick Baker came to visit me in hospital and told me of the reported benefits of a number of Neways products for cancer sufferers. He also dropped a book in my lap the name of the book was "Cancer, Why We're Still Dying to Know the Truth" by Phillip Day. Talk about opening my eyes, this book certainly answered a lot of questions about why the medical profession and treatment of cancer and other diseases. He then told me of a number of people who could give me more information. One of these people was Mark Elliott a Buteyko practitioner from Melbourne who told me of a seminar he was having in Sydney on 6th June. That is where I was given hope to carry on and to achieve a normal life once again.

Today we had a very excited dad ring to tell us that his five year old daughter who has cancer is improving dramatically. Little Laura had a cancer in her kidney that expanded from there right around her waist to her belly button. It was the size of a football! She was in fact in the top 10% of cancer cases. The doctors are amazed at her progress. This family was forced to give their daughter chemo therapy, so they have watched her go through the treatment much against their will. However, dad had been to see Phillip Day and did all that he could to help his daughter with natural remedies. Well, the medical professionals cannot understand why the tumour has decreased in size to that of a fifty cent piece! It has never been seen before. The parents are thrilled at the results and have not told the doctors for fear of what they would say. However, they know in their heart what has helped their little girl and thank God for his wonderful natural ways of healing. I thank him for people like Phillip Day who lay their lives on the line to tell the world the truth about the cause and the remedy for treating cancer.

First I wanted to say that I attended the Phillip Day Health Wars seminar at Manly Sydney Australia last night and found it to be the best seminar I have attended to this date, and I do try to go to as many as possible. He is trully a brilliant presenter and extremely knowledgeable. He did mention a website which I wasn't quick enough at writing down regarding information on water filters. If you could email me some info on the matter I would appreciate it. Also I had read his cancer book and had commenced reading the Health Wars book when my 6yr old german shepherd bitch develop a tumour on her nose which the vet was quick to want to cut it out and was talking chemo, etc. But I started giving her the apricot kernels in her food and within 3 months the growth has gone and she also use to come up lame quite often which no one seem to be able to sort out. But that problem seems to have also diminished. She is healthier than ever and I have always taken extreme care with her but at the same time I was having her vaccinated which I no longer do. I wish to thank Phillip Day for the great job he is doing. Too bad there aren't more like him.

It was at that conference that I was given hope to carry on and to achieve a normal life once again. As an alternate practitioner myself, I had doubts from the start of the ability of the doctors to do anything that could remove or cure cancer. Like all of us, I have seen relatives and friends waste away and die while still believing that modern medicine can return their health. I have seen clients come in with shoulder, neck, back, hip and leg problems they had had for years and been continually taking cortisone or panadine to elevate the problem. Just another Band-Aid. Those conditions come under the heading of "easy to fix."

Mark Elliott has one of the simplest and most amazing resources imaginable; he calls it the Cancer Attack Pack. What he has done is put together a list and availability of different nutritional supplements and therapies known to have a positive effect against cancer. With the help of a complete diet change, use of nutritional supplements, Buteyko breathing, filtered water, lots of sleep, regular exercise, lots of good massage, healthy thinking and heaps of prayer, I am sure I have beaten what I refer to as "rust". It is commonly believed that "Mesothelioma is always fatal - any treatment is unsuccessful, in terms of long-term care. Care can only be palliative." I find that statement impossible to accept, given the fact that my health is improving, not deteriorating.

One of the saddest things I have found out since my diagnosis was a man who was diagnosis with mesothelioma only one week after me. He is now dead. What a waste of a human life, certainly not the way God intended it to end. At the moment I can honestly say I haven't felt this good in over 20 years. Now I run 2-3kms each day and swim over 2kms, 4 days a week. Not a bad effort since 6 months ago I couldn't even swim 25m, then get out of the pool without puffing. Most important of all, I can be involved with those I love and watch my children grow up (and not out-run me), knowing I have many years of healthy living ahead of me. Let's face it, if the so-called élite of academia can tell us that the big bang really happened and that mankind evolved from the apes, how could we believe that modern medicine could restore us to the level of health God created us to have? hayeshealth@yahoo.com

Dear Campaigners,

My name is Jan Anderson. I attended a Conference earlier this month in Adelaide, Australia, where the speaker was Phillip Day. I had previously listened to some of his tapes and some other tapes i.e. The Politics of Cancer. He was a fantastic speaker due to his enthusiasm for his subject matter, his very keen knowledge of the information provided and his need to share this with others. I managed to convince my husband to attend this Conference, not normally his thing, and he was enthralled. My husband was diagnosed with metastasis cancer in early September 1998. They were unable to find the primary but discovered his vertebrae had been eaten away in his L4 by 3.5cm and to a lesser degree on the L1. They also found cancer in his lungs. He was previously a smoker, although not really a heavy smoker, and had given it away three year prior to the cancer being discovered, after he had suffered a heart attack and had a stent fitted.

The fear that entered our life at the time the cancer was discovered is indescribable. My husband was 50 at that time and I was 55. Ian was my second husband and we have been married 14 years. I had lost my first husband Ken to illness and I felt I could have done more if I had been more insistent with the doctors or done something myself. I was not going to let history repeat itself. I had lost my first husband Ken of a gastric ulcer when he was 41 and I was 38. The doctors had told Ken it was only stress and he should relax more. He was like a skeleton when he died. The gastric ulcer, undiscovered in medical tests, had grown like a vine and wrapped itself around his heart and squeezed, causing massive internal bleeding, the shock of which killed him. Both Ken and I kept telling the doctors we thought it was an ulcer, but they didn't listen. Both my father and my first husband's father suffered from duadenal ulcers and their symptoms were identical. The Coroner called for all Ken's X-ray to see why the gastric ulcer had not been discovered and treated as it was not a serious ailment. It was said it did not show in the X-rays as it was hidden in the folds of his stomach.

My husband was always slim. I am sorry I strayed off the subject a bit but I think my experiences have left me a little cynical about putting our lives in the hands of doctors, I was brought up not to talk back to my elders and to revere doctors. They are however, only human and not always given the means to mend our bodies. We must also take some responsibility ourselves. There are a lot of very caring doctors around but they have tunnel vision in relation to prescribing drugs. In the search for the answer to my husband's cancer I discovered information on Essiac Tea from the Ojibway Indians and about B17. I started my husband on the Essiac Tea and started feeding him food with B17 in it. Mostly almonds as he loved them and it was easy to get him to eat them. I carried out lots of juicing with carrots, spinach, and one apple (including the pips). Ian was very accepting of the Oncologist's need for Ray treatment and Chemotherapy and felt he needed these to get well! All I could do was keep feeding him good things to try and rid his system of the poison as soon as possible. He humoured me. I also had him on four different Neways treatments and Noni Juice - all steadily emptying our bank balance.

Ian endured three lots of 10 days ray treatment. He also had chemotherapy, Carboplatin and Taxatere three weeks out of every four for approximately 14 months. Also he was given about four other drugs to stop him being sick; make him want to eat and to beat other side effects. It was hell for 18 months. After approximately 6 weeks of treatment, my husband was limping very badly and in pain. They gave him more X-Rays and discovered the cancer was pushing his spine trying to enter. I was told they would have to put him in a wheelchair as the cancer would make its way into his spine causing him to become a paraplegic. It was hell living with this information, of which my husband was not aware. It was a great strain for me as the doctor described what would happen and how the pain would be unbearable. Thankfully, this did not occur. He was rushed to hospital on four occasions, two with pneumonia. He also stayed in a wheelchair for 18 months.

Fortunately, his Oncologist, a younger woman, accepted my need to feed Ian natural remedies and had no objection to this, although the way she said it lead me to believe it would be to no avail. She tried very hard in her own way to help Ian get well and was always extremely helpful and made herself available as soon as he was taken to hospital irrespective of the time of night. On one of these occasions, when I had to call an ambulance because my husband's temperature had shot up to over 40 degrees; he was hallucinating; had a huge gapping wound in his groin, which just happened so quickly, the oncologist asked me why he was so bad, as I had been keeping him in such good condition (sounds like a horse). I advised her his mouth and his gullet were so bad with thrush that after taking a pill with 2 glasses of water, it would pop up again into his mouth. He was unable to swallow any of the vitamins and minerals I had been giving him. The oncologist asked me to go home and get these items immediately and she would give him an injection to help him swallow my natural treatments. It was the closest she had come to acknowledging that whatever I was doing was of benefit to my husband.

My husband has not needed any Chemotherapy since August 2000. The holes in his spine are slowly developing encrustations. His body is trying to heal itself. The cancer did break out again further up his spine near his shoulder blade in February of this year, or so they say, and he was given a further 10 days of ray treatment. You should see his burnt back. They had not been in such a rush to carry this out this time and Ian was of the opinion it was because the cancer hadn't started eating his bones. At the time my husband was diagnosed with his cancer the specialists did not, thankfully, give him an expected time to die, as they do with so many others. I spoke with them without my husband's knowledge and asked them not to tell him or I. After the first 9 months of his treatment, when on a visit to his lung specialist, the specialist told us that he "doffed his hat to us". He said that none of then had been expecting him to survive more than six months. This was the longest time for people with this type of very aggressive bone cancer. He said if you can last this time, you can last a year, six or ten years and we are watching you very keenly. Both Ian and I started crying. We have always been so positive on a recover for Ian. I have not allowed him to think otherwise.

On one occasion Ian's local doctor was sent a letter from the government where Ian worked. It asked the doctor for the likely prognosis and the chances of Ian going back to work. The doctor completed this form and sent it back to Ian's employer. Unbeknown to the doctor, the government sent Ian a copy of this. It stated that the prognosis was not good. That Ian would never be able to be employed again and he was not expected to live for long. Unfortunately, Ian collected this letter and read it before me. He stated that not everyone believes as I do in his ability to recover. I told him that doctors are not God and we must prove them wrong. Ian at this time was only staying up in his wheelchair for about 1 hour at a time as he was very weak and tired. As soon as he was asleep, I telephoned his doctor and gave him a peace of my mind. He was amazed that a copy of his report had been sent to Ian and apologised for this as he had not meant to upset either Ian or myself. He did however state that I was being unrealistic to expect Ian to survive more than about six months.

Well we have proved them wrong. Ian is now without a wheelchair and has been for about 11 months. He now has some quality of life and loves pottering in his shed making things for people. Some days he overdoes things and strains his back and he is in some pain for a few days. He is now saying that he feels better than he has for the last two years. Due to Ian's remarkable recovery, other people who have cancer sometimes contact us or others ask on their behalf. I loan these people your tapes, and indeed at the Conference I bought another four of each of them to give to more people. Also at the Conference I took a couple of extra copies of the "Welcome to the Campaign for Truth in Medicine" Booklet. I have also been handing these out and suggest they get on to your website. Nearly all of these people have been asking where they can obtain some Apricot Kernels. The health food stores say that they are prohibited from sell them by the Government as they are a poison!!!! So, summer is just around the corner and here in Australia apricots will be plentiful. Which part exactly of the kernel does one remove and use. How can I store these and I would like to be able to grind some knowing they will keep for some time. There are some very interesting recipes in the "food for thought book which I would like to try which call for ground apricot kernels. I would really appreciate any information you can give me. Indeed, even suppliers of ground kernels if possible. Although that may be difficult if the government in Australia has banned them. My husband and I became a member of the Campaign at the Conference and look forward to future e-mail health updates. I know what you are doing is excellent and I am proud to be part of it. There will be a ground swell, and people can change things. I will keep passing on your website number to anyone who enquires.

Thank you, Jan

5th May 2001 Aloha Trevor, Thanks for forwarding info in B17. I found out in 1976 that my dad had leukemia.  In those days I knew nothing of alternative therapies or lifestyle.  That was the beginning of my education, for the sake of my dad. To make a long story shorter, the laetril he got on helped him tremendously, and increased the quality of his life the last few years.  He started with injections in Tijuana, and smuggled some back into the country (USA) (we laughed about it--my dad smuggling, he was such an upstanding citizen). The quality of product he could get in the states was inferior, and he developed an allergic reaction after some time, and went off the laetril.  It was then that his leukemia got worse. I want to let people know, that it does help the body to resist and reverse cancer.  People need to use it as part of a complete program.  There are many, many excellent immune boosters on the market today.  I, from my personal experience, would recommend people to use B17 along with the rest of the great stuff we now have available. Chew your apple seeds (especially from organic apples).  They are full of B17. With blessings of Aloha,

Karuna on Kaua`i (Hawaii)

After an active life-time of work and sport, at 69 years of age, Gordon had not been feeling well for nine months, until finally he was diagnosed with advanced prostate cancer at the Brisbane Royal Hospital in April 2000. The tumour was large and his PSA (Prostate Specific Antigen) reading was 1500.  Having been aware of Metabolic Treatment for many years, Gordon refused the recommended treatments, and upon release contacted the Narvaez Clinic in Juarez, Mexico. In great pain and in a wheel chair, Gordon arrived in Juarez on 14 May. Immediate tests showed the PSA now had a reading of 2400, and x-rays showed that the cancer had made extensive inroads into his bones, which had become quite fragile.  Gordon was advised by the clinic doctor that the metabolic treatment would eliminate the cancer throughout his body, but that in his experience only 30% of patients have a bone regeneration. After one week of treatment, the PSA was down to 1700;  after the second week the PSA was 600 and Gordon was advised the the regeneration of the bones had commenced. After three weeks Gordon returned home to Brisbane walking and free of pain.   He has continued taking supplements as recommended by the clinic. Some 6 weeks later the PSA was 48, and after another 6 weeks it was 4.9. Within three months he had regained weight, and slowly the muscles were returned to their normal strength and flexibility, allowing him to play golf twice a week.  Nearly twelve months later, Gordon remains on a maintenance regime of diet and supplements and has regular checks.  Without the trauma of conventional treatment, his recovery has astounded all who know him. Dear Kate [Credence]

“My Story” – Sarah H, Southampton, UK

I was diagnosed as having breast cancer in November 1998. Since then, I have had a full Mastectomy and reconstruction of my left breast; a capsulotomy (to soften the reconstruction); 6 monthly sessions of chemotherapy using a cocktail of three drugs; 25 days radiotherapy; 14 further weekly sessions of chemotherapy.

In February 2000, I had been given two sessions of the drug Taxotere. I ended up Neutropenic (no immune system) and in hospital for a week, in isolation to begin with as any germs could have been fatal for me. 12 weekly sessions of the drug Taxol then followed, ending in August. After all that, my cancer is still here!

In March 2000, I bought “Cancer – Why We’re Still Dying to Know the Truth” by Phillip Day. I read the first 20 or so pages and put it in a drawer. It frightened me because it was going against the “establishment”, I suppose. I had been accepting everything that the doctors and oncologists had been telling me. In fact, I even asked my oncologist about Vitamin B17 and he said that it was just a load of “quackery” and that was it! Embarrassingly so, I accepted what he said.

Anyway, in July, my husband asked to read the book. The chemotherapy I was on at the time had shown some improvement, but certainly nothing radical. By the end of August, nothing had really changed since the beginning of the year when I’d starting the second lot of chemo.

My husband Russell really got into the book and was very keen to take it further. Anyway, to cut a long story short, we ended up going to the Stella Maris Clinic in Mexico for three weeks in November.

I cried all the way to the airport. I have remained so positive throughout all of my treatment, but this was something different. I was having to go to Mexico for treatment – what on earth was it going to be like? What was the doctor going to be like, was it going to be clean, was it going to be “dangerous”?

Well, we arrived at San Diego, and were taken the next day to the Stella Maris Clinic. As soon as we stepped into the clinic, all my doubts and fears were gone. It was such a lovely atmosphere; Dr Alvarez and his team were wonderful. I spent three weeks having Metabolic Therapy. A typical day consisted of breakfast with supplements; IV Vitamin C, DMSO and Vitamin B17; fruit juice and supplements; coffee enema; lymphatic massage; and lunch and supplements. We had lectures by Dr Alvarez explaining the theory behind his treatment program; lectures by a nutritionist; and educational videos about how the immune system works and how to prepare good wholesome food for yourself. All the food was made from scratch. There were no additives, preservatives or colourings, just loads of soups, vegetables, salads, millet, rice, nuts and dried fruit and it all tasted absolutely gorgeous! I didn’t want to come home!

When we arrived home, the kitchen was completely turned upside down. I am now healing myself through supplements, juicing, and very healthy food – loads of vegetables, salads and juice. I give myself a coffee enema everyday to rid my body of toxins and I feel great! My hair is growing quickly, my skin feels fresh and my nails are all returning back to normal! Of course, I have my downs, everybody does, but I give myself the time to come out of them and end up feeling better each time. At this very moment, I feel as though I could rule the world! And things continue to get better

Dear Jan (Neways distributor) As you know when I was diagnosed as having prostate cancer last April the P.S.A count was 99 and after going on a dairy free diet and taking Maximol and Revenol and then taking the apricot kernels I had a blood test I August and the P.S.A count was down to 19. I have just had another blood test and I and the doctor were amazed to find that the P.S.A count had dramatically dropped to 2.3, yes that is 2 point 3 and I feel very well. I do not know whether it is the tablets I am taking, or the dairy free diet or the Maximol and Revenol and kernels that are having the good effect, but I have my own ideas and I will certainly carry on taking the minerals and the nuts in future. Thank you for your help and advice, with all good wishes to you and your family for Christmas and the New Year,

Yours sincerely Tom M, Cheshire, UK

Dear Phillip [Credence] I can't begin to say how impressed, incensed and inspired I was by your book Cancer, Why we're still dying to know the truth. I am a Neways independent distributor and I was recommended to read the book by another distributor. I could not put it down and wanted to find a way of getting the message that this book conveyed to many other people. Just such an opportunity arose on Radio Kent at the end of last year when they had a phone-in about alternative therapies for treating cancer. I rang in and mentioned the book and afterwards, having left my number off-line I received about 25 phone calls which resulted in over half of these asking me to get the book for them. I have since ordered another 10 copies for other people who have requested it. I am also going to the talk next Monday 8th January that you are giving at the Totton and Ealing Community Centre and I am looking forward to meeting with you.

Regards Erica E _ _ _ _ _

Dear Edward [Credence] I have twice been diagnosed as having prostate cancer, and twice overcome the condition. On the 8th October 1998 and with a PSA of 22.7 was diagnosed as having prostate cancer. Within a few days I had changed my lifestyle and my way of thinking, I became a semi-vegetarian, eliminated fats and sugar from my diet and wherever possible all artificial flavourings, colourings, E numbers and chemicals. I also developed a daily protocol of vitamin and herbal supplements. Three months later my PSA dropped to 1.3 and a biopsy reported that no malignancy was found. A few months later and with a PSA of 9 was again diagnosed as having prostate cancer. This time my original healing program appeared not to have any affect and after trying numerous other ‘alternative’ treatments my PSA rapidly rose to 25.2. At this time – November 1999 – by chance came upon a book written by Phillip Day and titled ‘Cancer, Why We’re Still Dying To Know The Truth’ wherein it described the benefits of apricot kernels. I immediately ordered a two-pound pack of kernels and commenced to daily consume forty apricot kernels and half of a fresh pineapple. Then in May 2000 my PSA dropped to 0.7 and a subsequent biopsy again reported no malignancy found. Today my PSA is a steady 0.5 and I firmly believe that this success is entirely due to the consumption of the apricot kernels and now continue to take 10 daily as a maintenance dose.”

Dear Kate [Credence], Thanks for your message. Our cat's name is Eric. For the record, here is his full story: Eric is a neutered domestic shorthair red tabby, prone to dozy inactivity (!). He was diagnosed with feline lymphoma in November 1999 after a biopsy. The vet could feel a lump the size of a walnut on his bowel; this prompted the operation to determine malignancy. He suffered chemotherapy in two forms: a half tablet every other day, injected cancer drug every fortnight requiring general anaesthetic, and a steroid pill every day. By June his facial fur had thinned out, he was hardly alive, though not yet dramatically underweight, and by July all of his whiskers had fallen out. We got hold of Phillip Day's book Cancer: Why We're Still Dying to Know the Truth and within a week Alison was treating Eric with 4 apricot seeds a day, ground up into organic food, mainly chicken breast or natural smoked fish, Neways Maximol in Evian water, and a third of a Revenol antioxidant tablet. We stopped the chemotherapy, thinking that he simply could not get any worse. The vet was doubtful of any benefit the apricot seeds could provide, but she had heard of their use. To confound medical science, Eric steadily improved. Within a week he was much better. Within a month he was fatter, brighter and livelier than ever before. His fur started to grow back, as did his whiskers. His stools had been the yardstick by which we judged his condition and these remained healthy. After nearly two months of no chemotherapy we took him to the vet; the vet did not know precisely what we had been doing and we now had to admit we had stopped giving him the chemotherapy tablets. She was astounded, and reluctantly admitted, after a blood test under anaesthetic, that he was back to normal and that she could feel no lump at all. Eric now has a maintenance dose of two seeds per day, still eats only organic food and drinks only Evian water (Evian is one of the few bottled waters with no fluoride content). He also takes Maximol and Revenol. The only bad news is that he now suffers pneumonia, brought on by the chemotherapy; he is treated with the homeopathic remedy echinacea. Otherwise, he is alert, keen, frisky (more than we’re used to and extremely irritating late at night!) and by far a healthier cat than we have ever known. This is without question, a testament to the discoveries made by Ernest Krebs, and all thanks to Phillip Day’s tireless researches. We intend to submit a report of this to the Royal Veterinary College, demanding further clinical trials. With animals, there is no placebo effect, no psychology, only results. Thank you, Phillip Day, for all you have done.

Your sincerely Alison,Jonathan And Eric!

Hello Geoff [Sherman, Commander, Royal Navy (rtd)] I'm just writing you a little note to tell you that I have received my first packet of apricot kernels from Credence today. I have to admit I was a little sceptical of the health claims at first but after reading that cancer may soon be affecting 1 in 2 people, I knew I had to take preventative measures sooner rather than later. Reading the many testimonials on the Credence website was encouraging and it helped me to take that first step. I ate a few kernels tonight and the taste was much better than I was expecting. Now I know that I can easily eat them while reading, surfing or watching TV! I have asked my parents to start eating the kernels too. My mother has had cancer in the past and I think it will be marvellous if the kernels prevent a reoccurrence. My sister is interested in sampling a few too. I thought I would let you know as I'm sure you get a lot of apathy from people who can't even be bothered to at least try eating them. I hope you get some personal pride from knowing that your actions can help other people see new things, even if it does take a lot of time and effort.

Happy New Year! Mark

World Without Cancer Update 03/07/2000 (breast cancer)

Susan Beer of Invercargill, New Zealand was diagnosed with breast cancer. Since she started metabolic therapy in November of 1999 her cancer has shrunk.

World Without Cancer Update 03/07/2000 (carcinoma of the lip)

Ann Harris was diagnosed with carcinoma of the lip in 1991 (9 years ago). The cancer never went away despite three surgeries and one session of radiation. The tumor was located on one side of her mouth and extended all the way into the mouth, causing so much pain that she could not eat. After starting metabolic therapy on 11/09/99, within 10 days she saw that her tumor began to dry up and shrink dramatically. She is now on her fourth month of metabolic therapy and says her tumor is almost gone.

Should Mrs. Harris have known about vitamin B17 9 years ago it would have saved her 9 years of pain and suffering.

World Without Cancer Update 03/03/2000 (squamous cell carcinoma)

On July 3, 1999 Mr. Darrell Derusha was diagnosed with squamous cell carcinoma. He had a big lump in his neck about the size of a plum and one in his throat which he could feel every time he swallowed. On January 14, 2000 Darrell decided to start metabolic
therapy and metabolic therapy only to correct his condition. After only one month on metabolic therapy the tumor in the neck was reduced to the size of a marble (from resembling a plum). One day he felt something bothering his throat proceeded to cough. Much to his amazement the tumor he had in his throat came out and he describes it as follows: "it was about the size of a grape and it was dead, dry, and had some blood on it". Ever since, Mr. Derusha has not felt the bother inside his throat. He is now feeling great and continues on his way to recovery.

World Without Cancer Update 03/03/2000 (Lipomas)

Miriam Alvarez Gonzalez, from Puerto Rico, was diagnosed with lipomas all over her body after both silicon breast implants leaked
into her system. The cancer had spread through the cervix, all through the left side of her body, into her lymph system, and had
nodules all over her body. Her pain was so excruciating that she could barely move. She said she tried everything and could not
control the spread of the disease nor the pain. On Jan 19, 2000 she started on metabolic therapy with the I.V. form of B17. Within 10 days her pain was reduced 90% and she was able to move around and walk again. On Friday March 3, 2000 Miriam reported that her tumors have shrunk over 60% and she feels that she in on her way to recovery. She went off all antidepressants and pain medications and reports her diabetes to be down to 150 from 307.

World Without Cancer Update 02/19/2000 (Stage 4 Lung Cancer -
Completely Gone!)

After years of routine visits to the doctors and getting a clean bill of health Stella Foster was diagnosed with stage IV Lung Cancer with involvement in both lungs on July, 1999. Following the advise of her doctor Stella started chemotherapy immediately in an effort to "control*" her condition. After only one chemo treatment she was admitted to the hospital for 5 days with seizures and almost died. Early December of 1999 she decided to try metabolic therapy with vitamin B-17 and added ESSIAC Tea to her therapy. After 2 1/2 months on metabolic therapy her cancer in completely GONE. On February 9th, 2000 she showed up at the doctor's office to find out the status of her condition. She describes being afraid when the doctor walked in looking pale after reading her results. The doctor was pale and his mouth had dropped, not because she was sick but because her lungs were completely clear of cancer. This is one of those cases they call "spontaneous regression" or "a miracle". One wonders why!

*(Eight out of every ten patients with cancer of the lung who choose to submit to orthodox therapy, will be dead within one year.
Ninety-five out of every one hundred patients with cancer of the lung will be dead five years following diagnosis—if they choose only orthodox therapy [(1)CIinical Oncology for Medical Students and Physicians, op. cit., p. 99.])

November of 1999 her cancer markers have gone down to one half.

World Without Cancer Update 01/30/2000 (advanced stages of breast cancer, metastasized to bones and liver)

Subject: A "Testimonial"
Date: Sun, 30 Jan 2000 10:15:23 -0500
From: "Sally Curry" <sbcurry@mindspring.com>
To: <admin@b17.net>

Hello:

My sister, Mary, age 47 and in the advanced stages of breast cancer, metastasized to her bones and liver, started taking your 21 day protocol two weeks ago, after I found out about it on your web site.

During the twelve years since Mary was originally diagnosed in 1989 with a tiny malignant tumor in her breast and had a radical
mastectomy, Mary had completed all the conventional treatments, including chemotherapy, radiation, a bone marrow transplant (her own marrow), a hip replacement, and more chemotherapy. Her good, caring, doctor who administered all these "conventional" treatments, reluctantly answered her question of how long she had to live by saying that it was likely that Christmas 99 would be her last Christmas.

Her latest symptom was that her belly would fill up with fluid to the point where she looked and felt like she was at least nine months pregnant. Her doctor told her this was caused by fluid "leaking" from the tumors in her liver. This was a most uncomfortable symptom, as it caused her a lot of pain in her back and she could not walk around for any length of time because it was so uncomfortable and tiring, and she could not comfortably get a good night's sleep. She was bedridden except for going to the bathroom and coming downstairs to sit down to dinner for ten minutes before retiring upstairs again.

She would go to the doctor's office every Monday to have a needle put into her belly cavity to drain off two liters of fluid. Within 24
hours, the fluid would again fill up her cavity to the "nine months pregnant" state. Mary was starting to say that death would be
preferable to this life she was now living.

After only one week of treatment (the 21 day oral protocol), her full belly symptom disappeared! She canceled her Monday belly
draining at the doctor's. She kept her appointment for the following week (two weeks after starting the protocol) and again there was not enough fluid to go through the draining procedure. The nurses at the office, who had known Mary intimately for the twelve years that she was being treated by this doctor, were astounded and kept telling her how good she looked. Her energy was much better and she was stronger and had good color. When she weighed in, she discovered that she had lost fifteen pounds, which we attribute to the fluid which was no longer collecting in her belly cavity. She can even drive again a little and go out to lunch, and stay out of bed for a few hours at a time now.

We assume that she is still close to death, but this treatment has made her last....year, we hope... livable. She no longer sometimes talks about death as something that might be preferable to living because of her suffering.

Thank you.

World Without Cancer Update 01/13/2000 (Leukemia)

On December 10th, 1999, Margie Schaeffer put her diabetic 14 year old son, Keith Schaeffer, on metabolic therapy (Aside from being a diabetic Keith also suffers from chronic lymphatic leukemia). Since, Margie has called our office several times to report her son's amazing progress. Of course, his doctors stated that Laetrile is nothing but quackery. In less than one month Keith's platelet count has gone from 40 all the way up to 458,000. Keith has done nothing else but metabolic therapy since December 10th and it is the only thing they attribute his progress to. Keith is feeling great and thanks God and Laetrile therapy. Keith says he hides the taste of the apricot seeds by grinding them and putting them in his yogurt.

Should you wish to contact Mrs. Schaeffer, feel free to e-mail us for her phone number or address.

World Without Cancer Update 01/13/2000 (Stage 4 lymphatic cancer)

Dear David,

On December 14th, 1999, my Dad, Philip Valentino Sr. passed away. However, his death was due to DIABETIC complications, not cancer. Ironically, his last biopsy; on 11/14/99 came out NEGATIVE for cancer. He was a twenty year sufferer of Diabetes when he was diagnosed with cancer in March, and given a death sentence by his doctors for the cancer. We started the Laetrile treatment immediately, and as I repeat, his biopsy was NEGATIVE for cancer on 11/14/99. We do not consider his death a defeat, but rather a
victory for alternative medicine. Between April and December, his pain was noticeably lessened, his spirits rose, and he enjoyed the last six months of his life. If it were not for the insidious Diabetes, we would still have him today. My family and I are very grateful for those last six months, which we are convinced we would not have had if not for the Laetrile protocol. I have given my Dad's supply of seeds and 500 mg B-17 to another cancer patient, and he is so impressed, he has decided to order himself, and continue the protocol. Even in death, my Father has been able to reach out and, through you, help someone else. that will be his greatest legacy. Please feel free to call me @ (201) 865-2577 if I can help you anymore. On behalf of my family and myself, I thank you.

Sincerely,
Philip Valentino Jr.

World Without Cancer Update 01/11/2000 (Prostate Cancer)

After being diagnosed with prostate cancer Mr. John Shoun started metabolic therapy with Laetrile on 07/15/99. After only six weeks on the therapy his PSA dropped from 6.6 to 1.7. Also, he noticed that a number of skin lesions also went completely away.

World Without Cancer Update 01/10/2000 (Stage 4 lymphoma)

Red Davidson from Berryville, AR was diagnosed with stage 4 lymphoma and told that nothing could be done for him. His doctor
recommended a bone marrow transplant and heavy doses of chemotherapy to buy him some time. One of his doctors told him
that Laetrile was quackery and worthless. The other doctor said it was toxic and it could possibly kill him. After undergoing 3
sessions of chemotherapy Red decided to quit because the treatment itself was killing him. He started metabolic therapy with intravenous Laetrile on 10/01/1999 and within 2 weeks a CT Scan shows shrinkage of the cancer all over his body. He was most
impressed when he noticed that the sores/boils that he had all over his body which were constantly draining went completely away within only two days of the Laetrile injections. All his sores are now completely gone, the itching is gone, and the cancer has
disappeared in most areas of his body. Of course, his doctors cannot believe it. He is now taking the B-17 tablets and thanks God for vitamin B-17 (Laetrile).

World Without Cancer Update 01/04/2000 (Tumor in neck)

Carles Thomas started on metabolic therapy with Laetrile on
09/16/99. In a recent phone call (01/04/00) Peggy Thomas (his wife)
tells us that her husband's tumor in the neck has been shrinking
considerably since he started the treatment. His cancer was
diagnosed as melanoma. We pray for Carles' prompt recovery.

World Without Cancer Update 01/03/2000 (Leukemia)

Jennifer Woodall put her dad Joseph Menard on Laetrile metabolic
therapy on September 10, 1999. Mr. Menard, who was diagnosed
with a bad case of chronic lymphatic Leukemia, noticed that the
swelling of his lymph glands went down dramatically within only
three days of taking Laetrile. In a recent phone call to our office
Jennifer told us that her father's blood count had dropped to 1/2 of
what it was and Mr. Menard is now feeling great and chopping wood
in his yard.

World Without Cancer Success Story and Update 12/31/99 (Breast
Cancer with metastasis to Brain)
SUCCESS STORY

To those who care and work at “World without Cancer”, My name is:
J. Dean Roach

My address: 6711 So. Rock Rd.
Newton, Kansas 67114-9315
My Tele. # 316-282-7275

One year and 3 days ago, on 11-5-98, my daughter, Connie O’Hara,
was diagnosed with advanced ductal breast cancer, stage three,
after having been given a clean bill of health just three months prior
from a routine mammogram. She and her Doctor agreed to start
chemo treatments which started 1 1-9-98, finishing the first round on
1-11-99. A mastectomy was scheduled and performed on 2-10-99 on
the right breast. The second round of chemo was started on 3-11-99.
Along about this time, I went on the internet in search of any new
information that might be available on Doctor Contreras and his
Oasis of Hope Hospital in Tijuana, Mexico. I printed Out about 20
pages or so of information and gave it to my daughter with the
understanding that should she and her husband decided to go down
there, that I would Make the necessary funds available for the two of
them to go. The choice was theirs. She finished her second round of
chemo on 6-4-99. Some time late in May, on “Good Morning
America”, some one from the medical side of the house made a
statement that chemo doesn’t work for breast cancer. My wife and I
both heard it, and so did my daughters’ husband, Mike. He had been
skeptical about Laetrile prior to this time because he hadn’t heard of
it before and was hearing all sorts of stories from his friends. After
hearing the statement on “Good Morning America”. Mike told
Connie, maybe she should go ahead and make the necessary
arrangements to go to Mexico.

I made a few telephone calls and the two of them went to Oasis Of
Hope and checked in on 6-7-99 for a 3 weeks round treatment from
Doctor Contreras.
When they returned home on 6-27-99, my wife and I met them at the
airport, and Connie had a very severe headache. On 7-1-99, a cat
scan revealed a 6 by 7cm tumor which the Doctor said was
inoperable. The tumor was in the right rear quadrant of her brain.
For the next three weeks she went through daily radiation
treatments using steroids to try and control brain swelling hoping to
shrink the tumor to where they could deal with it with gamma knife
surgery.
On 9-3-99. Mike. Connie and their two girls came to our house for the
weekend. She ate a fair supper, but was tired from the trip down, so
retired early. Saturday morning about 4:30am, 9-4-99. she awakened
nauseous, vomiting, scared and couldn’t talk. I took her and her
husband to the emergency room at Newton Med Center, where a cat
scan revealed the tumor hadn’t shrunk, but had grown to almost half
her brain. They told us to take her back to Sauna to her Doctor. On
arrival at the Salina Hospital, they took yet another cat scan to verify
the Newton pictures and admitted her to the terminal cancer floor.
She was placed on morphine drip, decodron, and adivan. On
Saturday afternoon, her Doctor called Mike and myself aside and
told us that Connie's time was very limited, that she would not leave
the hospital. We asked how long she had, and they answered, we
would be fortunate if she was still here Monday 9-6-99. By early
Sunday Morning, we started cutting down on the morphine drip so
that she could come somewhat semiconscious to monitor her pain
level better. She was in and Out of consciousness through Tuesday
evening or Wednesday morning. About 10:30am, she opened her
eyes, and said, Dad would you go out and see if they will let me
have a fruit plate? I went Out and told the Nurses Station her
request, and they got on that request right now. A nice fruit plate
came in about ten minuets and Connie ate about 1/2 of it before she
stopped, and I cried, because this was two days after she was
supposed to be gone, and the first food or drink of any kind since the
previous Friday at my house. She held the fruit down, which was
also a first for a while.

Thursday was a day full of many events. First, she realized where
she was and what it meant to be on a terminal cancer floor, and
again she was a very scared girl. She informed the nurse to get a
hold of the Doctor, that she wanted to go home and be with her
husband and girls for what time she had left, that she did not want to
die in a hospital.

This request brought the Doctor in abruptly and he talked to her and
explained to her that hospice would have to be involved, she didn’t
care, she just wanted to go home. Hospice equipped her home
thursday afternoon and she went home Friday Morning about
11:00am. As soon as she got home, she started taking her laetrile
that she brought home from Mexico. At this time she weighed about
80 pounds. Day by day, she is gaining her strength back. Around the
15th of October, Hospice requested an exam by her Doctor and
subsequently, on 10-21, an MRI was done this time, and when the
Doctor saw the results, he stated that he could not explain what was
taking place. Connie said, I can. It is an answer to Prayer and
laetrile. The tumor was now less than 1/2 the size of when they first
found it in July. WE are now looking forward to have Mike, Connie,
and their two girls for Thanksgiving dinner, as we have much to be
thankful for. You see, God Gave my daughter back.

PS As of 11-8-99, at the Doctors office, she weighed in at 100 pounds.
Ten more pounds to go!

Sincerely,

J. Dean Roach

UPDATE: DEC 31, 1999: CONNIE HAS BEEN GIVEN PERMISSION BY
HER DOCTOR TO DRIVE HER VEHICLE AND GO BACK TO WORK.

Another testimonial given by Mr. Dean Roach:

World without cancer, This testimonial goes back to 1969 when Dr.
Contreras was first starting his clinic in Tijuana, Mexico. My father in
law was given 2 to 6 months to live with lymph node cancer. I
watched him go from a 200 pound man down to about 140 p ounds
when I heard about Dr. Contreras. I borrowed
2,000.00 at that time and sent he and my mother in law down for
treatment at his clinic. Five years later, my father in law was
examined by the same doctors that had performed the radical neck
surgery when they first found the cancer, the results of the exam
showed my father in law to be free of cancer The doctors told him,
Bill, we don’t know what you did, but you did the right thing. The
Doctors did know what Bill did, because he told them he took
laetrile. At that time, laetrile was not acknowledged and was not
talked about by American Doctors. Anyway, Bill lived another 13
years, and when he died, it was from an aortic aneurysm, not
cancer.

Sincerely,

J. Dean Roach (son in law)

World Without Cancer Update 12/31/99 (Cancer in chest cavity with
metastasis to local rib)

Michelle Wondra of Oklahoma City, OK was diagnosed with a
cancerous tumor in her chest which had metastasized to one of the
local ribs in the area. Michelle started metabolic therapy with
Laetrile on September 14, 1999. We received a phone call from
Michelle on 12/31/99 advising us that the cancer which had
metastasized to the rib is completely gone and the pain that was
associated with it is completely gone. Michelle continues metabolic
therapy hoping to achieve total regression of her condition.

World Without Cancer Update 12/23/99 (prostate)

Mr. Paul Switzer was diagnosed with prostate cancer and started
Metabolic therapy with Laetrile on 07/07/99. After 6 weeks his PSA
dropped from 8.6 down to 6.5.

World Without Cancer Update 12/20/99 (Chronic Lymphocitic
Leukemia)

Mr. Joseph Casternovia from Springfield, NJ, was diagnosed with
Chronic Lymphocitic Leukemia and put on Lukren. After only one
treatment he had to be rushed to the Emergency Room and almost
died from the side effects. Everyone gave him up as a hopeless
case and thought he would be dead within just a few weeks.
Joseph started metabolic therapy and apricot seeds on 10/07/99 and
within one and a half weeks his blood count dropped from 132,000
down to 30,000. Since Joseph has been on vitamin B-17 his blood
pressure has dropped, he feels better than he has in months, and
much to the amazement of most of his loved ones he is still alive.
No one can believe it. He says he owes it all to Metabolic therapy
with vitamin B-17.

World Without Cancer Update 11/30/99

Thank You. My Dad has made a great recovery. Of course, the
doctors call it a" miracle", and give no credit to the treatment, but
I'm continuing to share Dad's story with friends and family who need
help. Thanks Again. Philip Valentino Jr. (North Bergen, NJ)

World Without Cancer Update 11/03/99 (Tumor in neck)

Violet Samuelson of Corpus Christy, TX started metabolic therapy
with vitamin B-17 and apricot seeds on 08/06/99. On 11/03/99 she
called our office and said that her tumor which is located between
her neck and ear has shrunk considerably. Violet continues on her
way to recovery with vitamin B-17 metabolic therapy.

World Without Cancer Update 11/01/99 (Breast cancer with
metastasis to local lymph nodes)

Mrs. Jean Earls started on Laetrile Metabolic Therapy on May 1,
1999. On 11/01/99 Jean called our office to reorder her maintenance
dose of vitamin B-17 stating that her breast cancer with metastasis to
lymph nodes is completely gone.

World Without Cancer Update 10/21/99 (Small cell carcinoma of the
prostate)

Mr. Co Baart from New Zealand was diagnosed with small cell
carcinoma of the prostate with metastasis to the liver and started
metabolic therapy on 09/28/00. After undergoing metabolic therapy
for two months his liver, which was swollen about 70% went down to
normal size and the tumor itself went down about 25%. His prostate
shrunk and his urinary and bowel functions returned to completely
normal. After being on 40 mg of morphine when first diagnosed he
is now completely off of it. Mr. Baart feels he is on his way to
recovery from this disease.

(Spinal Cancer)

Dear David

Mary Mattson has progressed through Phase I and the Phase II
supply is reaching its end. She has spinal cancer and was in a
wheelchair in February. Since she has started this program she has
progressed tremendously, and combined with her strong faith in
God, she is now walking around the neighborhood and basically
beginning to live a normal life. Through her doctor's monitoring, and
continued tests, she has been told that if her condition continues to
improve and testing continues to reveal the same improvement she
has experienced so far, she will be pronounced to be in remission
by November. I have mentioned to her that she needs to write her
story to you as one of your testimonies. I think that she will. Thank
you for being available, and I thank the Lord that we found you.

From Kimberly H. Mandry - Letter sent to World Without Cancer, Inc.
on August 1999 about her mother's success on Laetrile. (Breast
Cancer).

Stoner805@aol.com
Canton, Mi USA
-Wednesday, August 11, 1999 at 23:53:19 (EDT)

My mother was diagnosed with breast cancer in May '99. Frantically,
I spent many hours on the internet and found, "World Without
Cancer". I read all the information then decided to order the 21 day
Metabolic Therapy. I had the vitamins (Laetrile etc.) ordered
overnight. I immediately got my mom started on the program. Her
surgery was scheduled 9 days after I received the Vitamins. She
followed the protocol faithfully for 9 days. During the 9 days she
detoxed heavily.

When she went in for surgery the doctors had to take her in to x-ray
to take another mammogram so they could inject a dye around the
tissue that had been affected (since the area was so small it could
not be detected by a physical examination). The dye was to be used
for the doctor to follow where the cancer was. While in x-ray (2
hours) the radiologist could no longer find the spot where the cancer
had been detected. My mother never told the doctors about the
Laetrile she had been taking. After surgery, the doctor came out and
told me that they know they got it all, and that the spot was smaller
then the tip of your baby finger.

During the time she was is x-ray (2 hours) the nurses and hospital
were standing around talking about this matter in shock. The x-ray
should have only taken approx. 5 minutes. Needless to say her
surgery was postponed for an hour. She is absolutely doing "Great"
and I attribute this to God and Laetrile. My Mom has become a
Vitamin Queen and I myself take Laetrile as a preventative. We must
focus on keeping a strong and healthy immune system and eating
right.

Thank You Very Much David!! God Bless you!!

To Whom It May Concern,

I have read your info for my father, who has adenocarcinoma of the
colon. The VA nurse said years ago she injected a patient with
Laetrile and it did not work. She said it had been so long that she
doesn't remember what type of cancer he had. My father is on a
fixed income, which makes this hard to try also. Do you have to take
everything with the B-17 or can you just take certain parts instead of
all? I am very much into organic and/or natural and I have got my
father to try and do the same. Any info or help would greatly be
appreciated. Thank you and God bless.

Dear David,

George went to the oncologist today and had blood work done. The
blood work came back better than it ever has. That was great.
Found out that the pain pills, Percoset, were causing the headaches.
We have cut back as you instructed me and he is doing better with
the B-17. I also had to listen to the lecture from the doctor that
Laetrile does not work and that it can kill you. He says he has
documentation that shows this. I am going to take the papers with
me on July 16, at the next appointment and show him differently.

Thank you so much for your help and responding. I will contact you
in a couple of days and let you know how George is coming along.
Again, thank you so much.

Sincerely,
Deborah Burns

17th May 2000 - Small cell lung carcinoma

Ted Ethier was diagnosed with small cell lung carcinoma in February 1999. One doctor told him he had 2 months to live and another gave him 6-8 months. After reading Phillip Day's book, "Cancer Why We're Still Dying to Know the Truth", Ted commenced Vitamin B17 Metabolic Therapy on 13th March 2000. After just two months, Ted went for an x-ray which revealed no trace of the cancer at all. Ted states that today he is feeling better than he has in months. If you would like to contact Ted, feel free to e-mail us at testimonies@credence.org

13th January 2000 (Leukemia)
On December 10th, 1999, Margie Schaeffer put her diabetic 14 year old son, Keith Schaeffer, on Metabolic Therapy. Since, Margie has called our office several times to report her son's amazing progress. Of course, his doctors stated that Laetrile is nothing but quackery. In less than one month Keith's platlet count has gone from 40 all the way up to 458,000. Keith has done nothing else but Metabolic Therapy since December 10th and it is the only thing to which they attribute his progress. Keith is feeling great and thanks God and Laetrile therapy. Keith says he hides the taste of the apricot seeds by grinding them and putting them in his yoghurt.
Should you wish to contact Mrs. Schaeffer, feel free to e-mail World Without Cancer, Inc. for her phone number or address.

13th January 2000 (Stage 4 Lymphatic Cancer)
On December 14th, 1999, my Dad, Philip Valentino Sr. passed away. However, his death was due to DIABETIC complications, not cancer. Ironically, his last biopsy on 11/14/99 came out NEGATIVE for cancer. He was a twenty-year sufferer of diabetes when he was diagnosed with cancer in March, and given a death sentence by his doctors for the cancer. We started the Laetrile treatment immediately and, as I repeat, his biopsy was NEGATIVE for cancer on 11/14/99. We do not consider his death a defeat, but rather a victory for alternative medicine.

I have given my Dad's supply of seeds and 500 mg B17 to another cancer patient, and he is so impressed, he has decided to order himself, and continue the protocol. Even in death, my Father has been able to reach out and, through you, help someone else - That will be his greatest legacy. Please feel free to call me @ (201) 865-2577 if I can help you anymore. On behalf of my family and myself, I thank you.
Sincerely,
Philip Valentino Jr.

11th January 2000 (Prostate Cancer)
After being diagnosed with prostate cancer, Mr John Shown started Metabolic Therapy with Laetrile on 15th July 1999. After only six weeks on the therapy his PSA dropped from 6.6 to 1.7. Also, he noticed that a number of skin lesions also went completely away. Carles Thomas started on Metabolic Therapy with Laetrile on 16th September 1999. In a recent phone call (4th January 2000) Peggy Thomas (his wife) tells us that her husband's tumour in the neck has been shrinking considerably since he started the treatment. His cancer was diagnosed as melanoma.

10th January 2000 (Stage 4 Lymphoma)
Red Davidson from Berryville, Arkansas was diagnosed with stage 4 lymphoma and told that nothing could be done for him. His doctor recommended a bone marrow transplant and heavy doses of chemotherapy to buy him some time. One of his doctors told him that Laetrile was quackery and worthless. The other doctor said it was toxic and could possibly kill him. After undergoing 3 sessions of chemotherapy, Red decided to quit because the treatment itself was killing him. He started Metabolic Therapy with intravenous Laetrile on 1st October 1999 and within 2 weeks a CT Scan showed shrinkage of the cancer all over his body. He was most impressed when he noticed that the sores/boils that he had all over his body which were constantly draining went completely away within only two days of the Laetrile injections. All his sores are now completely gone, the itching is gone, and the cancer has disappeared in most areas of his body. Of course, his doctors cannot believe it. He is still taking the B17 tablets.

3rd January 2000 (Leukemia)
Jennifer Woodall put her dad Joseph Menard on Laetrile metabolic therapy on September 10, 1999. Mr. Menard, who was diagnosed with a bad case of chronic lymphatic Leukemia, noticed that the swelling of his lymph glands went down dramatically within only three days of taking Laetrile. In a recent phone call to our office, Jennifer told us that her father's blood count had dropped to 1/2 of what it was and Mr. Menard is now feeling great and chopping wood in his yard.

31st December 1999 (Cancer in chest cavity with metastasis to local rib)
Michelle Wondra of Oklahoma City, OK was diagnosed with a cancerous tumour in her chest which had metastasised to one of the local ribs. Michelle started Metabolic Therapy with Laetrile on September 14, 1999. We received a phone call from Michelle on 31st December 1999 advising us that the cancer which had metastasised to the rib is completely gone and the pain that was associated with it has also disappeared. Michelle continues Metabolic Therapy hoping to achieve total regression of her condition.

23rd December 1999 (Prostate Cancer)
Mr Paul Switzer was diagnosed with prostate cancer and started Metabolic Therapy with Laetrile on 7th July 1999. After 6 weeks his PSA dropped from 8.6 down to 6.5.

20th December 1999 (Chronic Lymphocitic Leukemia)
Mr Joseph Casternovia from Springfield, NJ, was diagnosed with Chronic Lymphocitic Leukemia and put on Lukren. 1st November 1999 (Breast Cancer with metastasis to local lymph nodes)
Mrs Jean Earls started on Laetrile Metabolic Therapy on May 1, 1999. On 11/01/99 Jean called our office to reorder her maintenance dose of vitamin B-17, stating that her breast cancer with metastasis to lymph nodes is completely gone.

1st November 1999 (Renal Cell carcinoma with metastasis to vertebrae)
Mrs Pat Lucht started on Laetrile Metabolic Therapy on 12th July 1999. Pat was diagnosed with renal cell carcinoma with metastasis to the vertebrae. By November 1999 her doctors were expecting the cancer to be all over her body. 1st November 1999 Pat called our office and stated that the cancer which had metastasised to her vertebrae is now completely gone. She continues today on Metabolic Therapy on her way to complete regression of all symptoms, she says.

21st October 1999 (Small Cell Carcinoma of the prostate)
Mr Baart from New Zealand was diagnosed with small cell carcinoma of the prostate with metastasis to the liver and started Metabolic Therapy on 29th September 1999. After undergoing Metabolic Therapy for two months his liver, which was swollen about 70% went down to normal size and the tumour itself went down about 25%. His prostate shrunk and his urinary and bowel functions returned to normal. After being on 40mg of morphine when first diagnosed he is now completely off it. Mr Baart feels he is on his way to recovery from this disease.

To whom it may concern;
I tried to print your information for some friends of mine, but my printer isn't working. My name is Nancy Chavez and I live in New Plymouth, Idaho. And I do know that the apricot seeds or pits do work. My husband was diagnosed in 1994 with small cell inoperative and terminal cancer. It was in his left lung and liver with little to no hope. The doctor gave him 3 months without treatment and 8 months with it. I started him on the apricot seeds and snook them into him throughout his treatments. He started getting better and the cancer started shrinking. Then it jumped to his head and he had 13 radiation treatments all the time I gave him the pits also. He ate his way through both the treatments and continued to get better. The doctor now calls him his miracle patient and pronounced him cancer-free 2 months ago. None of the health-food stores here will order them for us and there are so many other people who want to try them. I am glad I am now able to get a hold of them and help other people obtain them.
My telephone no is 208-278-3405
thank you.

Letter from Janine Gavin (Queensland, Australia) to World Without Cancer, Inc.
Hello David,
Many thanks for your prompt reply. It is truly a pleasure to deal with someone whom is calm, unruffled and concise. As previously advised this order is for Frank.... I am checking as I have been told that the seeds are now available in Melbourne, Victoria - this, I have yet to confirm. Frank is doing extremely well...he was well enough to fly across to New Zealand for a daughter’s wedding - this he cannot thank you enough for. I was not aware but Frank has also apparently had a prostrate problem for years, I didn't ask questions but he did say that his count has always been 19. His last check his specialist was astounded, he asked what he was doing as his count was down to 5! Something they had not been able to achieve for years. Frank truly is a gentleman, and when he quietly asks for me to say "THANKYOU", it comes from his heart and soul.
Take care,
Janine.

Dear Dr. Krebs. Thank you for giving me another birthday (May 17). Please, again, remember November 15, 1979, when my doctor and four other urologists gave me a maximum of four months to live with my prostate cancer, and they set up appointments for radiation and chemotherapy, which I knew would kill me if the cancer didn't, and I refused their treatment. Then on a Sunday afternoon I contacted you by telephone and went with your simple program. I am 71 years old and am on my 13th year [of survival]. Three of the four urologists have died with prostate cancer, and forty or fifty people are alive today and doing well because they followed my "Krebs" simple program. Thanks again for giving me back my life. Your friend, HM "Bud" Robinson

"Laetrile saved Alicia from cancer. Doctors here in the U.S. gave her only a few months to live last November. But now she is alive and well, a beautiful and vital wife and mother, thanks to God and to those wonderful men who have the courage to stand up for their science." – American actor-comedian Red Buttons, speaking at a cancer convention in Los Angeles

Dear Phillip, My wife has a brain tumor and she's been taking the [apricot] seeds and B17 for a while and had very good response. The last MRI showed between a 50-75% reduction in tumor size that gets a PRAISE GOD... (name and address supplied)

Dear Mr Day, All I can tell you is that I had a growth about the size of a pea on my eyelid for two years and nothing would change it. The eye doctor said he thought it was cancerous but I did not have any tests. After 4 months of taking the seeds the growth has totally disappeared. Al Bresciani From the Journal of Jason Vale

"12/1/98 - Spoke to George Robinson this weekend and his father who was terminal with lung cancer just got checked up after doing both chemo and the seeds and B17. His cancer has shrunk down over 75% and the doctors are at a loss of words. They say that it looks as if he's going to be fine. He needs to stop the chemo now or it will kill him."

"4/2/98 - Angelita Corrales has diabetes and ovarian cancer. She started B17 back in Sept. She had previously had a biopsy that showed ovarian cancer. She just had another test and the cancer is not there anymore."

"14/2/98 - Bart Bartholomew had small cell cancer in his lung and was given about 6 months to live with the chemo... this was about 4 months ago... he started the seeds and also the chemo... The cancer has shrunk greatly. The doctors of course don't understand what's going on.... they think they're so successful they're going to give him full doses of radiation."

"26/2/99 - Robert DeFilippo who had fourth stage Lymphoma and was mentioned earlier in the journal has run into some problems. After having been given a death sentence by the doctors and turning only to the seeds, we are sad to say that Rob has now lost all confidence in his doctors because he's feeling better than he ever has and with no signs of cancer. Rob's phone # is" (number supplied on request)

"27/2/99 - [Dear Jason], Two years ago I had incurable bladder cancer!! Taking the seeds and a complete change of diet caused my eighth cysto (last December) to be a waste of time!! NO MORE BLADDER CANCER! Thank you for being there...I will continue the seeds and diet, and yes, I am passing on your phone # and what I've learned. God Bless! Edward M. Gill (Age 53-and living)." (number supplied on request)

Ruth Helm is another that did the right thing. She was diagnosed with breast cancer and started the seeds right away... She called today and told me how her breast cancer shrunk down all the way but was still on schedule for chemo. She received one session of chemo and the doctor couldn't in good conscience continue with the chemo...(not all doctors will do this) He told her she was cancer free... She now continues with the seeds as every human should...phone # is…"

Dear David, The following is my personal experience with cancer:

Hindsight is always 20/20. If I had only read about cancer, I might have noticed some of the warning signs I was having. I was constantly tired, bruised so easily, had started getting headaches every day - all things I contributed to being a mother of three children. But God has a purpose for everything and this is how it happened.

December 28, 1998 - I had a lump taken out of each breast. It was the only way to find out if it was cancer", the doctor had told me, "It’s not like there is a cancer blood test- it’s just not that simple" He also told me all odds were against me having cancer. My surgery had, in fact, been put off for six weeks. However, two days after the surgery he called me and told me one of the tumors was malignant (the other was benign) He was shocked. After all, I was only 30 yrs old, was not overweight, had already had children, and didn’t have a history of cancer in the family. He suggested I have a lumpectomy or a mastectomy. He rattled off a bunch of statistics and told me to find an oncologist. I had a second surgery in January 1999 - a lumpectomy.

A couple of days after that surgery he called and said "he didn’t get enough" - he’d have to schedule a third surgery. By this point, I had begun to feel quite poorly. I had also thought there had to be something else besides conventional methods. I had read about some others who used alternative methods with success and thought that it made more sense than chemo and radiation. That was probably the last thing my doctor wanted to hear. He told me I needed to have that third surgery if I wanted to raise my own kids. I was sorry I had had that second surgery and knew I did not want another. The doctor’s office called me every week for a while before they sent me a registered letter. The letter stated that on the several occasions that they had spoken to me on the phone, I had not been cooperative. They implied, in the letter, that if I did not follow through with their recommendations, I would not make it. They would be there, though, "when" I needed them again.

I began reading about alternative medicine and was met full force with every opposition from the medical world as well as from most people that I know. Fortunately, my family and best friend stood by me 100%. In February I began to get sicker and had started losing weight. I was hospitalized for severe headaches and dehydration. I received several visits from oncologists who suggested "I end the pity party and take care of things" I had also noticed a lump growing in my neck. They said it had nothing to do with my breast cancer. In fact that was all they wanted to talk about. "When would I be starting my chemo anyway? " When I refused they told me I was bullheaded and stupid. I faked feeling better so they would release me from the hospital. I decided to visit an alternative medical doctor. On my first visit, he asked me a lot of questions and said I needed to address the problem of cancer.. He told me there was nothing that could be done for cancer outside of radiation and chemotherapy. He suggested I have an MRI of my head to rule out tumors. The MRI showed nothing abnormal. I asked him about diet and vitamins but he said it doesn’t make that much of a difference.

By March I was still losing weight and my headaches were so severe I could barely walk across the hall. Sleepless nights mounted. I was lucky to sleep 20 minutes at a time. I continued to ask every doctor I visited about my headaches and the lump in my neck. Each said the lump was not related to the headaches and sent me home with a fist full of pain prescriptions. I didn’t bother to fill any of them. One doctor even said, "Come back when your headache goes away and then I can treat you." Needless to say I didn’t go back. During April (I think) my Mom and I started reading about laetrile. It made too much sense not to try. We ordered some (100mg) and I began taking it. The dose I was taking was only a maintenance dose but it was making a difference. The tumor in my throat, however, was still growing. It was now the size of a small orange. After several more visits to more doctors, I finally found one that listened. He sent me to a doctor in Philadelphia who recommended I have the tumor taken out. The tumor, it turned out, was malignant. It was part of the Vagus Nerve, a cranial nerve, that starts at the top of the head (exactly where my headache was) and winds through the body down through the digestive tract, which was why I couldn’t keep any food down. Once again the oncologists paid me a visit and offered me their services. Once again I refused. The doctor told me I was not able to wish away, did I know? - but I knew exactly what I would do. I ordered the laetrile soon after I got home. It worked so immediately and so effectively once I was taking the right amount for my condition.

I continued to improve much to the amazement of the doctors. I am truly glad I read about laetrile.. I thank my heavenly Father for my life and also for the information He has provided for me. He has been with me every step of the way. He provided everything I needed from the necessary appointments to the finances I needed for the many expenses. I share my story with all those who want to know. Most do not want to know or do not believe me. I thank God for my family and friends who stood by me completely: and also for you, David, who patiently explained what I needed to know and answered my questions fully. You never made me feel rushed while making an order. That is so helpful especially in such a stressful time. Thank you so much. Nicol Rush

Donald Factor is the son of cosmetics entrepreneur Max Factor. Donald tells how B17 Metabolic Therapy in Doctor Contreras' Oasis of Hope Clinic saved his life. This November, Donald is overjoyed to celebrate 13 years of further life (and still counting!) – life that orthodox medicine was unable to grant him. Here is his testimony.

"My name is Donald Factor. I was living in London in November of 1986 when I was diagnosed with carcinoma of the lung that had spread to my liver. Basically the doctors in England didn't hold a lot of hope for me. They were very apologetic and offered a treatment which they thought might extend my life for a little while, but not for very long. I didn't feel like accepting that prognosis and decided to go and see Dr. Contreras. I'd met Dr. Contreras a few years before in a conference in England and was very impressed with his approach. He told us they used modern medicine combined with other natural things and a lot of love and faith. My wife and I moved from England to Los Angeles and then we drove down to Tijuana to the Oasis hospital where I was treated.

When I arrived I was in an extremely weak condition. It was 10 days after the original diagnosis and the cancer had spread to my spine. I was in excruciating pain with my sciatic nerve affected so I could hardly walk. I was loosing weight rapidly too. They took a look at me at the Contreras clinic and were quite
concerned. They too were not very optimistic about my future, but as Dr. Contreras Sr. said, because both I and my wife were very committed to doing everything possible to beat the cancer, they were prepared to work with us. To make a long story short, it succeeded. I knew Tijuana. I was born and raised in Los Angeles, and it was a place we used to go to do naughty things when we were teenagers. It wasn't ever a place that I associated with getting well, rather a place that I associated with getting sick.

I was very impressed with the Contreras clinic when I went inside and met the people; I had never experienced a hospital where the doctors would treat me as a human being instead of a bunch of symptoms or a disease walking through the door. Suddenly, there was a team of people there who were interested in me and they were involving me in the course my treatment would take. I was being asked, I was being informed and suddenly I was part of the team that was treating me. I wasn't just an object that was being treated. And that was tremendous and I realized there was another side to Tijuana that I never imagined possible in my youth.

This all happened in 1986 so it will be 13 years this November. After the initial metabolic treatment and about a year of home therapy, I was totally clear of any sign of cancer. I went back regularly for check-ups and after about three years of being in remission, the doctors said I was cured. I said, 'I thought in the cancer business you were never cured.' And they said,' Well it is silly to keep writing down 'Remission' year after year. We'll see you whenever you want to come back.' And that was that.

I already had a lot of ideas about the orthodoxy, I suppose I'd call it, of modern science. I was never happy with it. I had known people with HIV and Aids and I was always rather disturbed at the way that disease was treated and how in those days it seemed that anyone who was diagnosed with HIV was dead within a couple of years. It didn't seem right to me, it seemed to me that there was something else and I knew a bit about alternatives and complimentary medicine. My wife had been involved with some hands on healing work before that, so I was very open to other ways of doing things. I had never had a direct experience myself as a patient being involved in a place where love and human kindness were actually applied as part of the
program. I have to say it was a revelation.

My name has been given to people and I have happily talked with them telling them pretty much what I tell you now. I think one of the main things that helped early on in my treatment was the use of a catheter which was able to feed the IV medications directly into my liver. I think it was a Hickman catheter inserted into my umbilical vein that was able to stay in for about a year. It made taking all the medication much easier. One could simply inject whatever was needed into the end of a plastic tube and it would get through the catheter to the body without the worry of needles and veins. That was wonderful. It made life much easier and the quality of the treatment better. It worked amazingly."

Dear David
I have recently started taking B17 in seed form following my recent order, following completion of Phase I & 2 Metabolic Therapy with oral B-17. Recently had good test results showing that my bladder cancer is in remission and that I only have a very small area of low-grade cancer in my prostrate which was almost
undetectable.

Is the seed form sufficient for ongoing treatment or should I revert to the Metabolic Therapy? I am taking at the moment the recommended 1seed for every 10 pounds of body weight.

I know you are not a doctor and I hope you do not mind the question - I do not have anyone in the UK who I can ask the question.

Dear David
Mary Mattson has progressed through Phase I and the Phase II supply is reaching its end. She has spinal cancer and was in a wheelchair in February. Since she has started this program she has progressed tremendously, and combined with her strong faith in God, she is now walking around the neighborhood and basically beginning to live a normal life. Through her doctor's monitoring, and continued tests, she has been told that if her condition continues to improve and testing continues to reveal the same improvement she has experienced so far, she will be pronounced to be in remission by November. I have mentioned to her that she needs to write her story to you as one of your testimonies. I think that she will. Thank you for being available, and I thank the Lord that we found you.

Dear Geoff

I thought you would like to know about my father-in-law who was diagnosed with Hodgkin's Disease last year (which is cancer of the lymph system) - he had been very run down for a long period of time having to cope with my mother-in-law who had been getting progressively worse with Alzheimer's.

He got so run down and weary with life that his immune system just collapsed and he got these nodules growing at the base side of his neck. He eventually resorted to go to Christie's in Manchester for radiotherapy and he lost half the hair on one side of his head, apart from feeling dreadful.

Following the six-week course the specialist said that it looked as though they had caught the cancer in time before it started to spread through the rest of his lymphatic system - he was very relieved.

Several weeks later - guess what - the nodules started growing again - my father in law certainly did not want to have radiation again and resigned himself to the fact that the cancer was going to kill him and there was nothing that he could do about it.

Just at that time you had started to e-mail me with info about Vitamin B17 and I decided to order it for my father in law. I gave him a bag of apricot kernels and a tub of 500mg B17 tablets - which he took religiously until he had finished them. He felt quite ill and sick when he was on them, but the nodules started to shrink after three weeks. On visiting the specialist several weeks later, the specialist could not believe that the most recent scan showed no sign of the cancer - he was truly amazed and asked my father in law to return again 6 weeks later - just to make sure.

After 6 weeks and a further scan the specialist confirmed his earlier statement that the cancer has indeed gone! - he does not want to see my father in law now for a further 6 months! - Everyone is very happy again now - all thanks to B17.

All thanks and praise to you, Geoff, for helping t
o spread the life-saving word !

If I Can Do It, So Can You!
by Hilary Englefield
(October 1999)

I was shattered when I was told I had cancer. The doctor said I had to have a radical mastectomy on the right breast and a partial mastectomy on the left breast. This surgical procedure would then probably be followed by chemotherapy, radiotherapy, or both, and removal of the lymph nodes if this was deemed necessary. I had previously requested a blood test, but was told that there was no specific blood test available.

It was obvious from the Internet that people in America treat many different types of cancer with a non-carcinogenic, organic diet and vitamins and minerals, plus other natural plant extracts, and I contacted some of the organisations promoting these therapies. They were wonderfully supportive. Tina Cooke, who had been to Mexico for treatment, also gave me immediate help and advice about her regimen. I remembered a book called Killing Cancer, by Jason Winters, in which he described searching all over the world for a cure, and how he found the ingredients for a herbal tea which is known to kill cancer cells.

I sought a second opinion, which proved to be very negative, during which the oncologist repeated that there was no specific blood test available that would show whether the cancer cells were proliferating. This, I later discovered, was not correct, as a blood test had been developed in 1998 in the USA, and was available in England through London laboratories.

I then decided to seek a third opinion from a doctor. I had known her for many years, and felt I could rely on her implicitly. She confirmed that I had Paget's disease of the nipple, which could produce multiple tumours overnight and spread rapidly (in fact, I had suffered from this disease already for four months, since June, when I was referred to the cancer clinic). Together we designed a programme of treatment including Vitamins A, C, E, all the B's, magnesium, betaine, folic acid, linseed oil capsules and other items. One of the main therapies we used was intravenous amygdalin (vitamin B17), which I obtained from America and gave to the doctor, who administered it on alternate days. I attended the hospital each day as an out-patient..

I started my treatment programme in mid - November 1998, and within a fortnight, I felt 20 years younger. In February 1999 my blood test results were normal; the cancer had regressed and was not now apparent. My intravenous injections were gradually reduced, one by one, and I have now ceased my hospital treatment. My oral supplements, which I take at home, include vitamins and minerals, plus other natural plant extracts. I also take Jason Winter's tea, and Essiac, a similar tea based on a formula an ex-nurse discovered in Canada..

I now anticipate being alive to see my grandchildren grow up and would advise anyone in a similar position to seek a second or even third opinion, until they are satisfied that the information they are given is correct. One book in particular I recommend for solid advice on cancer treatment alternatives is Phillip Day's Cancer: Why We're Still Dying to Know the Truth. I was convinced that there had to be an alternative to surgery and chemotherapy. I hope my testimony gives people hope, and the chance to say, "If she can do it, why can't 1?".

My mother was diagnosed with breast cancer in May '99. Frantically, I spent many hours on the internet and found, "World Without Cancer". I read all the information then decided to order the 21 day Metobolic Therapy. I had the vitamins (Laetrile etc.) ordered overnight. I immediately got my mom started on the program. Her surgery was scheduled 9 days after I received the Vitamins. She followed the protocol faithfully for 9 days. During the 9 days she detoxed heavily.

When she went in for surgery the doctors had to take her in to x-ray to take another mammogram so they could inject a dye around the tissue that had been affected (since the area was so small it could not be detected by a physical examination). The dye was to be used for the doctor to follow where the cancer was. While in x-ray (2 hours) the radiologist could no longer find the spot where the cancer had been detected. My mother never told the doctors about the Laetrile she had been taking. After surgery, the doctor came out and told me that they know they got it all, and that the spot was smaller then the tip of your baby finger.

During the time she was is x-ray (2 hours) the nurses and hospital were standing around talking about this matter in shock. The x-ray should have only taken approx. 5 minutes. Needless to say her surgery was postponed for an hour. She is absolutely doing "Great" and I attribute this to God and Laetrile. My Mom has become a Vitamin Queen and I myself take Laetrile as a preventative. We must focus on keeping a strong and healthy immune system and eating right.

Thank You Very Much David!! God Bless you!!

Dear David,
George went to the oncologist today and had blood work done. The blood work came back better than it ever has. That was great. Found out that the pain pills, Percoset, were causing the headaches. We have cut back as you instructed me and he is doing better with the B-17. I also had to listen to the lecture from the doctor that Laetrile does not work and that it can kill you. He says he has documentation that shows this. I am going to take the papers with me on July 16, at the next appointment and show him differently.

Thank you so much for your help and responding. I will contact you in a couple of days and let you know how George is coming along. Again, thank you so much.

Sincerely,
Deborah Burns

UPDATE FROM DAVID ARJONA AT WORLD WITHOUT CANCER INC.:
I got a call from George Burns and his entire family two weeks ago. He is completely cancer free. He can be reached at (407) 636 1047. He will talk to anyone.

21st May 1999
I recently was tested for colon cancer and surgeon has removed several suspicious looking polyps. Since his discovery, I have taken various herbal compound teas, such as essiac, cansema/black salve and now I am taking apricot seeds. The cancer was discovered about 3 months ago. The test two weeks ago appears to indicate the condition has stabilized and possibly is now no longer malignant (according to the surgeon's written report from the pathology lab.)

I am now in the maintenance mode for both the indicated colon cancer, as well as the skin cancer I had two years ago. I treated with black salve, topically and cansema (liquid black salve), internally. I avoid pharmaceuticals as much as possible. I agree with the concepts in your critique of the book.

Thanks again. It is reassuring there are those tough and intelligent enough to resist the sand dwellers/those in denial and believe medical doctors are the only ones who are not quacks.

All I can tell you is that I had a growth about the size of a pea on my eyelid for two years and nothing would change it. The eye doctor said he thought it was cancerous but I did not have any tests. After 4 months of taking one b17 tablet per day and 15 apricot seeds per day the growth has totally dissappeared.

To Whom It May Concern,
I have read your info for my father, who has adenocarinomia of the colon. The VA nurse said years ago she injected a patient with Laetrile and it did not work. She said it had been so long that she doesn't remember what type of cancer he had. My father is on a fixed income, which makes this hard to try also. Do you have to take everything with the B-17 or can you just take certain parts instead of all? I am very much into organic and/or natural and I have got my father to try and do the same. Any info or help would greatly be appreciated. Thank you and God bless.

Our Family's Experiences with Cancer

by Libby Logan
(20th May 1999)

The following is a recount of my family's history of cancer and my beliefs about the disease and its cure. No claims of curing cancer are implied. This is simply my personal belief about cancer.

The history:

12 years ago my mother died of complications of breast cancer (metastasis to the liver), six months later her mother died of the same horrible disease (metastasis to the bone). This was the beginning of my research into alternative cures for cancer. I come away from this 12 year journey with the belief that cancer is curable and that we need not ever be faced with it. The cure and prevention is nutritionally based. None of the cures damage your body like traditional cancer treatments. They work to strengthen your immune system so that you are able to fight and conquer cancer.

My most recent experiences with cancer are about my sister and myself. Last October 1997, I returned to the clinic to have a suspicious area of my breast re-x-rayed. It had grown and now was a threat. With my family history, the week that passed before the lumpectomy was shear hell. I was a nervous wreck, I felt a sickening fear that this was the beginning of the end.

My lumpectomy revealed a pre-cancerous condition. The surgeon's recommendation was a bilateral mastectomy with reconstruction. The thought of never having to worry about breast cancer again was like lifting the weight of the world from my shoulders. After talking with my family we all agreed that this was the best course of action. So I made plans to stay with my sister in Atlanta and have the surgery performed. It would be a free form flap reconstruction, where they utilized tissue from my belly to re-build my breasts. The surgery was very successful and by the end of December I well on my way to recovery.

The day of my November lumpectomy my sister noticed a lump on her sternum, right between her breasts. She rushed to the doctor the next week to get it chec

ked out. She was told it was nothing to worry about, but was scheduled for a non-emergency needle biopsy. After more than a month, several inconclusive needle biopsies and no diagnosis she was finally scheduled for a lumpectomy. The surgeon told her following the surgery that he had found a lypoma (a benign cyst), but that there was a tumor in the chest wall behind the lypoma. It would be several days before we would have a biopsy report. Again terror coursed through us we sweated out the week of waiting that would follow. The doctor waited until her postoperative visit to tell her the biopsy was positive. She had large cell, diffuse, immunoblastic lymphoma. She would be put through a battery of tests that would determine how far along her cancer was and how fast it was growing. We were referred to see an oncologist who would take over my sister's care. She seemed nice but detached like most physicians. The tests started with a bone marrow biopsy. An excruciatingly painful process where they manually bore holes in your bone through your lower back, with no anesthesia! We waded through the sea of tests and began the waiting game again.

The news was bad, it was stage four, grade three. Stage four cancer is the worst stage. It could be fatal. Grade three means it is the second fastest growing cancer (four being the fastest). The good news about a grade three cancer is "the faster they grow, the faster they die". Smoldering, slow growing cancers like multiple myloma and some breast cancers are the hardest for traditional therapies to kill. We were scared to death. There was some confusion caused by the bone marrow biopsy that led her doctors to suspect multiple myloma (it has no traditional cure and is always fatal long term, with traditional therapies). So we learned that they had to have more cancerous tissue to do a test (flow symmetry) that they should have originally done. Lucky for us she had a new tumor developing right next to the original site. They did a second lumpectomy and the lymphoma diagnosis was confirmed. Finally, two long months after her first doctors visit with the lump, she had a diagnosis. Her Chop chemotherapy started in early January. We wondered how much this fast growing cancer progressed in the two months it took to get a diagnosis.

My sister was very concerned about traditional thera

py. Our experience with it 12 years earlier with our mother and grandmother was very negative. We both had a deep-seated belief that traditional therapies rarely saved your life and they most certainly damage your body giving rise to new disease caused by a compromised immune system.

We researched her cancer and the statistics for cure (not just remission) with traditional chop chemotherapy. The statistics showed chemo had a good chance for cure. It was especially true in my sister's case because of the presentation of the cancer. She had only the two pea sized tumors on her sternum and cancer cells in her bone marrow on one side. She did not have wide spread tumors, nor any bones involved. Her chances were really ok. She was given a 30% chance of long term survival. This 30% includes older and weaker patients. My sister is 42, is healthy and strong. So technically she had a better than 30% chance. We decided she should go ahead with the chop therapy while investigating other alternative therapies.

We bought every book about cancer and alternative therapies we could get our hands on. We revisited research I had done 12 years earlier after my mother died. I spent countless hours on the Internet researching case histories and alternative testimonials. We weighed each therapy carefully. We used our intuition about our bodies to help weigh the worth of the therapies. But most importantly we searched for hard, long-term evidence with case histories to back up claims.

One of the problems with alternative therapy is that there are few "studies" performed on them. Because the cure is usually something widely available, it is not usually patentable. So as a result there is not money to be made in developing and selling the cure. If there is no financial future in it why spend thousands in researching the cure's worth? Well that's the way of the pharmaceutical business. So you are faced with looking at years of information about an alternative

therapy to see it's worth.

After all of our reading and research we came up with a plan. My sister would continue CHOP chemotherapy while we worked very hard to keep her immune system strong and also practised several alternative therapies that would not interfere with the CHOP therapy. This was our cure:

The Treatment:

1. Traditional CHOP Chemotherapy

2. Essiac, an herbal tea available in most health food stores made by Flora, called Floressence. Formula is originated with an American Indian tribe and passed on to the Canadian nurse Renee Caisse (Essiac, spelled backwards). Used for many decades, it has a long and positive history. There is also a book about Essiac available in most health food stores. Reduces tumor size, helps with pain and nausea. I took twice per day, my sister took it three times per day [available through Credence Publications. Please contact us for details].

3. The Gerson Therapy. A nutritionally based cancer cure. The Gerson Institute located in California 619-585-7600. There are two hospitals that administer this therapy, one in Mexico and the other in Arizona. This is very intensive and unless you have a full time caregiver that has no other responsibility I recommend you go to the hospital for no less than four weeks. You can take your caregiver with you and they will teach them to care for you. I was able to reverse rolls with my sister and be her full-time caregiver. I also have a very strong knowledge of nutrition and am a chef. So we were able to do the therapy at home. This therapy is so intense in fact that we gave my sister a modified form of it, so as not to detox her body too quickly. This therapy has the highest cure rate I have found demonstrated with proof and thousands of case histories. The therapy includes a fresh organic juice every waking ho
ur, coffee enemas every four hours, organic whole foods, mostly raw or cooked with very low temperatures so as not to damage nutrients. Organic (vegetarian) Vegan eating for 6-8 weeks and then slowly adding some organic dairy products. Many supplements; pancreatin, acidol, thyroid, niacin, liver caps, injected liver extract and B-12, potassium compound and lugol's solution. This is very intense. We did all the supplements, all the juices, one coffee enema per day and we added two of the Gerson adjunctive therapies; Laetrile and enzyme therapy. 3000mg of laetrile per day, 14 apricot pits and three magazyme tabs per day. She had some problems with anemia late in the CHOP (caused by chop) so we added iron, B complex, 10,000mg vitamin C, betacarotene, Vitamin E to promote red blood cell production. We also served lightly steamed spinach every day while she was anemic. Two books that are a must; "A Cancer Therapy", by Dr. Max Gerson and the "Gerson Primer", a handbook for the therapy. These books are available through the Gerson Institute. The Primer will tell you how to order all the supplies you need, including Laetrile.

4. A positive, happy environment. The most important part of my sister's treatment was that we assured her a worry free environment. I believe doing the research and reading about all the cured cases gave my sister a great deal of positive hope. She believed as did I, from the beginning that we would beat this cancer. We believed we were doing all the right things and that she would be cured....and so she was.

She was in remission as of April 1st. All of her tests were negative and she was cancer free. I practiced the therapy while I cared for her. I continue to practice the Gerson therapy in a modified fashion to maintain my health. I am cancer free as well. I must say after following this regimen for four months. I'm 40 and I don't think I've felt as healthy, strong and full of energy since I was in high school. While my sister was on the road to regaining her strength she faltered and cheated on the diet and stopped taking all of the supplements. The six CHOP therapy sessions really wiped her out despite our alternative therapies. She found out on 8/6/98 that she had slipped into a recurrence of the lymphom

a. She now faces a bone marrow transplant. The therapy works but you must be very disciplined and strict about you adherence to the program.

I would like to add, I truly believe that if you do not want to get cancer you need only maintain your Vitamin B-17 (laetrile, also called amygdalin) each day and eat a healthy diet of organic, mostly raw fruits and vegetables and cooked grains and legumes. Laetrile is available in pill form from Mexico, you can order it from STAT SA (get order form from Gerson Primer) or through Christian Brother's office 718-767-3137. For Maintenance you can eat 7-14 apricot seeds (found inside the pit). This will give you 50-75mg of Laetrile per day. Most health food stores can get it for you if they don't already stock it. Some people will tell you it is toxic...it is not!

I try to always practice vegetarian eating, no dairy products, only organic meat, when I do eat it (<1x month). I try to only eat organic food when ever possible. Most grocers or health food stores will order it for you. The Gerson Institute will give phone numbers of patients in your area that can help you source your food, and may even be willing to split cases of produce with you.

Good luck, stay focused God's speed....

Libby
